Seaside Cottage

Seaside Cottage is a heritage listed property (circa 1880) which has been lovingly restored to provide modern amenities whilst still retaining the charm of yesteryear.

The living area has a cosy couch, two single arm chairs and a TV with Apple TV and Netflix. There is reverse-cycle air-conditioning and the warmth and ambience of a built-in wood heater with firewood supplied.

The dining area has a 6 seat table and solid double doors lead to a country kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, water and ice dispensing refrigerator, toaster, kettle and dishwasher.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people.

• Bedroom 1 - one queen bed, reverse-cycle air-conditioning, colonial siding door that opens onto a small deck overlooking the foreshore
• Bedroom 2 - one queen bed
• Bedroom 3 - one queen bed

Doors lead from the dining room to a covered outdoor entertaining area with a table and patio blinds. From here, enjoy views across the foreshore to the water.

Directly across the road from the cottage is a large park which overlooks the inlet. There are BBQ shelters, picnic tables and a modern childrens playground. Walk just a couple of minutes to the Tooradin Jetty which is a great spot for fishing, or to the boat ramp where you can launch your watercraft or watch the fishermen feed the pelicans.

Next door to the cottage is Old Jetty Cafe which is open daily for breakfast, light lunches, coffee and cake. Walk 300 metres to the main shopping precinct of Tooradin which has several cafes, restaurants and a supermarket.

Seaside Cottage provides a relaxing retreat in a quiet fishing village - an ideal escape from a busy lifestyle, less than one hour drive from the centre of Melbourne. It is also a great stop over or base from which to explore Phillip Island which is only 40 minutes drive away.
