Family Haven

Family Haven is a two storey family holiday home with a self-contained bungalow and swimming pool, located close to the waterfront.

At the front of the home is a vast lounge room with large windows that bathe this area in natural light. There is a large corner lounge suite and a wall-mounted 75 inch Smart TV.

At the rear of the home is an air-conditioned open plan living area. It consists of a dining area with a table that seats 8 people and a sitting area with a couch and Smart TV. The fully equipped kitchen includes an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, fridge, dishwasher and ample cookware, crockery and cutlery.

Upstairs is a huge bedroom retreat with high ceilings. There is a sitting area, ensuite and kitchenette including a sink, bar fridge and kettle. Sliding glass doors open onto a corner balcony which offers water views in the distance.

A covered outdoor area links the main house with the bungalow. The bungalow is air-conditioned and includes a living room with a Smart TV and a small kitchen with an electric cooktop and oven, microwave, bar fridge and sink. There is also an ensuite bathroom.

Family Haven has 4 bedrooms and can sleep up to 12 people.

A cot and high chair are available if required.

There are 4 bathrooms.

The laundry is equipped with a washing machine and clothes dryer.

Outside is a large covered entertaining area which features a gas BBQ, full size fridge, 10 seat table, dart board and basketball ring.

Next to the entertaining area is a stunning in-ground swimming pool, complete with a cabana containing a day bed that overlooks the pool.

Parking is available for two vehicles in the driveway. A public car park next door offers additional parking.

Family Haven is located next door to Newhaven Recreation Reserve which has tennis courts, a skate ramp and sports field. Take a short stroll around the corner to the coastline around Newhaven and also the marina. A 3 minute drive across the bridge will take you to San Remo where there are hotels, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket. Alternatively, if you wish to stay on the island, drive 3 minutes to Cape Woolamai for a selection of cafes and takeaway food outlets.

Please note that this property is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. No bookings are taken over Schoolies.

Rates vary depending on length of stay and time of year.

Minimum stay is from 2 to 7 nights (please note this varies depending on the dates).

Top and bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases are not supplied by default for this property. If you would like these items of linen supplied rather than bringing your own, the cost is a once-off charge of $30 per bed. Please advise if you would like linen supplied and for which beds. Advance notice of at least 7 days prior to your arrival is appreciated. Note that doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats are supplied at no cost.
